In separate letters to the State Department and USAID,
Ros-Lehtinen cited President Barack Obama certification that the funds were
in the national security interests of the United States as well as
word that the government of Israel did not object to the assistance. The
letters were sent in September and October.
For the good congressrat the national security of the United States is
insufficient.
