Evolution of Hebrew font from Phoenician to modern

If you are familiar with the claims there really is an ancient Hebrew distinct from Phoenician these next three are the most likely examples you will be given. Note the Siloam inscription often referred to as the King Hezehiah does not mention any king. That makes the common name misleading.

What is surprising is when you start searching for actual inscriptions the professionals will identify as the so-called ancient Hebrew there are so few of them. Now these are durable inscriptions in stone of course.

In any event note they are all indistinguishable from Phoenician as shown here with both alphabets from the same period.
