We can annex because they did. This is another "we are no better than they
are" excuse.
In 1948 Jordan annexed both the west bank and Jerusalem
The only country in the world to acknowedge the annexation of the West Bank
was Egypt. When it came to Jerusalem, not even Egypt recognized the
annexation.
The UN has never recognized any annexation by Israel, not even of east
Jerusalem. No country in the world recognizes any annexation. The US does
not recognize any annexation.
What Israel calls disputed territories are nothing more than Israel refusing
to accept the opinion of every country in the world. There is no dispute.
There is only Israel's refusal to face reality.
