Who else would care about this holocaust thing but Jews? Even out of the twelve million from Nuremberg there is now only six million who were supposed to be Jews. But that barely scrapes the surface. The survivors of the leaders of Nazi Germany should sue Hollywood for 6% of the box office of every film that includes the Nazis. After all, they invented the stereotype that Hollywood uses so profitably. You can't steal intellectual property like that and get away with it. The US Holocaust Memorial Museum gets one and one half times the american taxpayer subsidy as the JFK Performing Arts Center. The JFK Center is infinitely closer to American interests than some monument to what happened to foreigners over a half century ago. In fact a holocaust museum in the US makes about as much sense as an American Indian Museum in Germany. More colloquially, at least there is a biological explanation for teats on a boar. There are more Americans of American Indian descent than there are jewish Americans yet they do not have a museum in the US. Nor are they clamoring for such a museum. Nor are they obsessed with "remembering." Nor do they hold New Age mystical beliefs that their ancestors must be remembered or it will happen again. Whatever their holocaust was and if they would ever define it, it had nothing to do with anything that happened in the US. And no matter how you look at it, the US was part of stopping it. Rather than the US owing something, the US is owed a great debt of gratitude, the smallest expression of which has never been offered. In fact all we get are complaints the US didn't do enough for them. It's an ethic thing. Instead of gratitude we hear only kvetching (a yiddish term for whining and complaining) that not enough was done for them either by groups or by individuals. There is no pleasing some people. Which is just what Jesus is purported to have said in "The Life of Brian" when the ex-cripple complained to him about being cured. If it were not for Jews this holocaust thing would be no more than the minor footnote to WWII that is realy is. It was not until 1970 or so that it was separated from WWII as something distinct. The marketing potential didn't show up for almost another ten years. If Jews had not become obsessed with this thing we would not have that mammary gland excretion nodule sitting on the Mall. Yet those same people have not problem using arab as an adjective even though it is by analogy an equally bigoted use. That is the truth. You go to jail for speaking that truth in France. In Germany you can go to jail for telling an audience what the curator of the Auschwitz Museum said about Auschwitz. Can you call the curator as a witness? No. The truth is no defense. Again in Germany one can go to prison for reporting scientific findings and refusing to effectively renounce science. Is science a defense? No. Prison for you. That is how much they care and more. That they criminalize the truth. They criminalize the facts. They criminalize the honest practice of science. They care so much that they are working against international travel. They have made it impossible for some people to travel to Germany and other countries upon risk of prison for what they did in their home countries.
