Early last decade there were peace negotiations Ehud Barack and Arafat.
Barack asked for a pause for the election. Arafat agreed. Sharon won and
declared Arafat has broken off negotiations. Worse for peace the Sharon lie
was adopted as a propaganda point by izziehugging liars everywhere.
The old election gambit goes as follows
- Plead time to campaign for election
- Plead time to form a new government
- Plead time to handle pressing business
- Plead time to formulate a negotiating position
- Celebrate second year in office
- Invent another unacceptable demand
- Declare Palestinians are delaying negotiations
Sometimes they skip a step or two. The currently popular issue in Israel is
the demand the Palestinians recognize Israel as Jewish state, that is a state for
the jewish religion, an apartheid state based upon religion.
It isn't really necessary to argue over this. Religious segregation is
already official policy of the government of Israel. The issue is whether
the Palestinians should accept the crimes against their relatives in Israel.
As documented by Israeli professor Schlomo Sand, the idea of a "jewish
people" was invented by the zionists in the late 19th c. Which hardly
matters as "people" has no legal meaning in international law. So why does
Israel demand it? Because it is politically unacceptable for Palestinians to
say it.
As usual the izziehuggers have adopted this refusal as evidence against the
Palestinians. Izziehuggers may not be very intelligent but they are clever.
At first calling elections appears reasonable but that ignores Israeli
politics. Labor threw the chance to form a government in favor of second
ranked Likud to avoid continued negotiations. Netanyahu's new government hit
most of the steps in the election gambit.
Some point to the Palestinians demand that Israel cease one aspect of its
war crimes in the occupied territories, ending criminal construction for
criminal squatters. Some suggest Israelis have a right to be war criminals.
Again izziehuggers are only clever not intelligent.
