A favorite Zionist lie comes in two forms. The first that Jews and Muslims in Palestine have always fought. The other is there has always been a conflict between Islam and Judaism. Neither form has any truth.

Zionists started arriving in the region in the 1890s. If Jews know of any conflicts prior to that time they have refused to identify them to the rest of the world.

This does not mean pointing to the rare and local campaigns by Muslims against all non-Muslims. They have occurred. They were rarely violent. They were limited to specific local rulers and generally to single cities. By rare I mean maybe one a century, maybe a dozen in all the history of Islam.

In any event if Jews were not the one and only target of violence then it is not an example. Nothing comes close.

That there were Jewish generals leading Jewish armies among the armies of the prophet Mohamed and his successors is an established fact. During times of persecution in Christian Europe the Muslim world gave refuge to fleeing Jews. This is also an established fact.

Particular to Palestine the previous religious conflict was the Crusades. During the Crusades Muslims and Jews fought together, side by side, against the invading Christians.

The truth is the violence in Palestine began when European Jews began arriving in Palestine. In fact the start of the violence can be identified more precisely. It was when the Europeans began talking openly about throwing out the Palestinians and stealing their land. That is what we call asking for it.

Keep in mind this is what they are, Europeans. Their religion is irrelevant. They are foreigners.
