What Iran should do
by Matt Giwer, © 2012 [Feb 02]

Given all of Israel's bluster on attacking Iran there is one simple thing Iran should do. Iran should start citing the Israeli talk as causing them to consider a premptive strike on Israel. And not just consider it but rather in the same "hold me back" terms Israel is using.

This is rather similar to immediately cutting the EU off of oil in response to the EU's declaration to stop buying Iran's oil slowly. If the EU does not want Iranian oil then "twere best done quickly." If Israel wants to start a war with Iran then "twere also best done quickly."

It is the same policy in both cases. In both cases those starting the confrontation get what they say they want only they get it sooner than later.

And if the talk doesn't shut down Israel's bluster then actually doing it should be on the table.
