The recognition that the US political system is the best money can buy can
be traced back to the beginning of political parties. It has never been a
secret. There are some obvious changes to correct the problem.
- Only registered voters may join political parties
- Joining a political party means becoming a dues paying member.
- Only members of a party may vote in party elections.
- The concept of a "registered" party member is abolished.
- Only members of a political party may contribute to the party to which
they belong and then only after being a member for one year or more.
- Voters may change parties no more than once a year.
- Politicians may only accept money for election activities from the
party to which they belong.
Corporations cannot vote therefore they cannot join political parties nor
contribute to them nor to individual politicians.
