Mysterious construction near Jefferson Memorial in DC. No mystery. It is
being managed by the Naval Sea Systems Command, NAVSEA. We are assured when
it is completed visitors won't even know it is there. We can't tell you what
it is but when it is completed you will be happy it is there.
NAVSEA owns the
vertical launch missile system for warships. It launches the latest
surface to air missiles, SAMs, in the Navy's inventory. It has a near zero
profile above the deck.
